It is held at Damansara Palace Restaurant near The Curve (around that area). Well, I was one of the performers for the night as a guitarist. My band members and I only practiced one day and we are supposed to play a few songs. 1 DAY!!!??? "Enough meh!?" Ok la. We managed to do it since we are good at last minutes stuffs. Haha >,> The wedding starts at 7.30 and dinner at 8.00 sharp. But you know, weddings are always late. So we started at around 8.30 or so.
Busy....>.< : Band practice and sound checks
I forgot what was i doing that time. x,x Kek Leong guo on my left in blue.
Spotted two kids taking a picture. The guy in black is Heman, my cuz
The wedding started with a praise and worship session. Many people were singing along with us praising Him. The lights and sounds were very good managed by our very own John, PA. The lightings suited our praise and worship session alot. The only thing that shocked me was when i was playing a little lead. The cameraman came right in front of me. x.x He was like only 1 feet away from me? Man~! He even came around 10 inches away from my fretboard trying to record what i played. It was sooooo funny. After that, the main event was on. The wedding ceremony. It started with a short preaching by Pastor Sai Yew. After that, they proceed with the "I do" thingy and *poof* they are officially a happy couple after the kiss. While waiting for the 1st dish to be served, usually people will have a short little dance or performance. This time our band played our very own song. It is a mandrin christian song which we sang in the praise and worship session but with no singing this time. I lead this song and the rest was playing rythmm to support my lead. According to the audience, it was great because the song was not the hard rock kind of thing. Well, we enjoyed that too because we love free jammings. Haha~!
The arrival of the main characters. From left, Chloe zhie and Jobby guo.
And they are officially married. Congrats~!
Full band~! Woot. Lol the giant cake is blocking our bassist, Joshy guo. From left: Drummer-Nan guo, Bassist-Joshy guo, Guitarist-Joey guo, Guitarist-Jeffrey, Keyboard-Kek Leong guo
The best singer of the night singing Eternal Flame~! Encore~!
There were a few songs sang in between dishes. There was the song requested by the guy in black that i just talked about earlier. There was another mandrin song composed by Joey guo (pretty much simmiliar to Loving You), Forever Love-Lee Hom (whoa the girls that night loved that =D) and Eternal Flame. Thats all about the weeding thingy. Well once again, congrats Jobby guo and Chloe zhie~!

It was my parent's cell group member's birthday. She is Lean Fung zhie. Actually, her husband is the one throwing her this urprise party since he was claimed to keep on forgetting about her wife's birthday. And guess what? It wasn't her birthday that day. Haha. Maybe he is just too busy to remember her wife's birthday. So what, the seniors still enjoy that day. He told us to come sharp at 8.00. We came at around 7.45 waiting for the main character without knowing yet that it wasn't her birthday. I was sitting there like a stone while the other seniors are karaoke-ing. We waited till 9.00 until they showed up. I think they faught or something but i shall not talk behind people now. Haha. So they came and the dinner was servedThe food was alright. Not as tasty as i thought it would be but who cares since its free right? While they were singing, i being the only teen there would be drinking. Haha~! They bought a very nice red wine. Not too bitter nor sweet. Just the right taste. After the food, we sang her a birthday song followed by the classic "Wish, blow, cut". After that group picture and they continued with their karaoke and i continued drinking, sms-ing and eating untill it was around 11.00 when we finally left for home. It was great overall. Btw, the restaurant was at Selayang Mall. ^.^
The "birthday girl" and her family
